UIP Sheet Type 200 Tang Inserted Flexible Graphite
Tang Graphite is a universal material well-suited for installations with high temperatures and high pressure. It offers outstanding resistance against temperature variations and high thermal conductivity.
Gaskets with tanged inserts are typically found in high-temperature and high-pressure seal points. The tanged insert provides radial strength which helps to prevent blowouts. These gaskets are often used in exhaust, head gaskets, intake manifolds, turbochargers, EGRs, catalytic converters, etc.
