Cloth-Inserted Nitrile (BUNA-N) TYPE #98

Cloth-Inserted Nitrile (NBR/Buna-N) is the polymer of choice for dynamic applications requiring oil and solvent resistance and enhanced durability and strength.  The 3.4 oz. nylon insert and the enhanced properties of Cloth-Inserted Nitrile rubber make it an excellent choice for applications requiring oil and gasoline resistance and superior resistance to petroleum-based hydraulic fluids.

Cloth-inserted Nitrile offers excellent stretch and tear resistance and is known for its use in military applications.  It has higher tensile strength than many other polymers and is an excellent choice for applications requiring very low tear strength.  It also reduces gasket creep.
