Our rubber joints provide time-tested ways to accommodate pressure loads, relieve movement stresses, reduce noise, isolate vibration, compensate for misalignment after plants go on stream, and prolong the life of motive equipment. Hand-crafted rubber expansion joints are available in single – and multi-arch designs and are custom-engineered to fit your application requirements. Available options include eccentric reducing, concentric reducing, filled arch, lightweight and off-set configurations. They can be designed to operate up to 200 psi and withstand temperatures up to 500º F. Sizes available from 1/2″ to 144″.
Our metal bellows expansion joints are often used to compensate for thermal expansion of hot piping systems. They are used in pipelines and process vessels to absorb motion and vibration in the systems and allow movement to account for ground settlement or earthquakes. Our products incorporate the latest recommendations of the Expansion Joint Manufacturers Association.
Solid molded PTFE Lined expansion joints are used when a corrosion-resistant material is needed to withstand high pressure and temperatures with space-saving design. PTFE is a synthetic fluoropolymer which fits numerous applications due to its non-stick nature and resistance to certain chemicals. Elastomeric coverings on solid PTFE and PTFE-lined metallic Expansion Joints are designed for environmentally corrosive applications. A Kevlar® reinforcement overlay can be used to increase working pressures and provide additional safety factors for PTFE Expansion Joints.
ThermaFlex Fabric Expansion Joints are non-metallic flue duct expansion joints that provide stress relief for piping and ducting systems by absorbing thermal growth and shock, isolating mechanical vibration, and allowing for misalignment. All ThermaFlex expansion joints are precision engineered specifically for your application and requirements. ThermaFlex Flue duct expansion joints are designed to handle low pressure (±3 psig) applications with temperatures ranging from -100°F to more than 2000°F.
